After taking far too long to finally make it here we set aside a full week to properly explore all its fantastic nooks and crannies, best viewpoints, best places for a drink and then checked out all the best hotels in Ronda Spain and a few apartment options. Parador de Ronda
Parador de Ronda is a 4-star luxury hotel located right on Plaza de España with amazing views over the gorge and Puente Nuevo bridge. It is in the former town hall and the location really can’t be beat – in the centre of it all right on the edge of the gorge. This really is the best hotel in Ronda, Spain.
Rooms have balconies, most with amazing views, and there is a pool, an exceptional restaurant and pretty much everything else you’d expect.
Remember to check out the terrace on the top floor with its comfortable seating and amazing views. There is paid parking nearby.
Best B&B in Ronda, Spain
La Escondida B&B
If you are looking for a B& B in Spain look no further than La Escondida B&B. With a seasonal swimming pool and amazing views over the countryside and mountains from the terrace, La Escondida is a great choice. It is located just on the outskirts of the old town near the Iglesia de Santa María la Mayor and is pretty much right on the old city wall. It is to the side of the main part of the Old Town but you get the benefit of peace and solitude.
It is known for its delicious breakfast served with homemade jam, plentiful coffee, amazing views and its friendly owners, Lars and Ellen, who are happy to dispense their local recommendations.
Make sure to be up for the sunrise over the mountains and if you have a car there is free parking a few minutes away just outside the city wall or paid parking only steps away.

Best Hotels in Ronda with a Pool
Catalonia Ronda Hotel
The Catalonia Ronda hotel is all about the views. The location means the small infinity pool, hot tub and rooftop terrace all have views over the oldest bullring in Spain (visiting the Ronda bullring is one of the best things to do in Ronda), as well as the square, the surrounding countryside and distant mountains.
You will definitely want to include time for a sunset drink on the terrace to truly appreciate the views.
This hotel in Ronda have rooms are modern and feature a/c and heating, a minibar, coffee machine and kettle and many have the same views as the rooftop (though slightly lower).
It is conveniently located only 2 blocks from the new bridge and old town and there is pay parking nearby.

Alavera de los Banos
The Alavera de los Banos is in Ronda’s former Jewish Quarter near the Puente Arabe (also known as Puente Romano) with its views up to the old bridge (not to be confused with the more impressive New Bridge). You can enjoy the outdoor pool and gardens with views over the countryside and mountains.
The included breakfast – charcuterie, breads, and homemade jams – can be enjoyed inside or out in the garden.
The hotel features a stunning building with a beautifully designed interior and Moorish feel thanks to the intricate tiles and ceramics. Some rooms also open up to the terrace with a small private seating area with views over the hills. Whichever room you stay in, try to be up to watch the sunrise over the hills.
It is once again very quiet and peaceful but requires a bit of a walk up the hill to the Old Town and New Bridge. However, it is right beside the former Moorish Baths which is one of the main tourist attractions in Ronda.

For another luxury stay, Hotel Soho Boutique Palacio San Gabriel is a beautifully restored 18th century building in the middle of the Old Town on Plaza Gigante. It has a gorgeous courtyard, excellent breakfast and even a cinema room.

Catalonia Reina Victoria Wellness & Spa
The spa at the Catalonia Reina Victoria includes a hydrotherapy pool, a hydromassage hot tub, a Scottish Shower (alternating hot and cold water), an ice cold bucket shower, an ice fountain and a dry sauna as well as a range of health and beauty treatments.
The building was originally the home of the German poet Rainer Maria Rilke and is perched on the edge of the cliff on the outskirts of Ronda’s New Town with spectacular views. It also has a pool, restaurant and extensive gardens that take advantage of those views which are particularly beautiful in late afternoon and at sunset.
Take a break from sightseeing to relax on the shaded outdoor couches.
It is also one of the few hotels in Ronda that offer free parking which may be worth the slightly longer walk to the main sites of Ronda.

Baraka Pension
The Baraka Pension is one of few choices located in the midst of Ronda’s Old Town and on a pedestrian only street. It is within easy walking distance to all the main sightseeing options.
The Baraka’s traditional Andalusian building features a Moorish design and has a rooftop terrace with views of the surrounding old town and countryside. Both rooms open onto the courtyard so you don’t get any noise from the town.
Make sure to have a tea or coffee on the rooftop terrace and ask your host about their wealth of information about things to see and do in Ronda as well as the surrounding area. Free parking is about a 10-minute walk away.

Hotel Colon is located next to La Merced Square in the new part of Ronda but is still an easy walk to the Old Town. Some rooms have a furnished terrace or a balcony. There is little bit of traffic noise but not enough to keep you up at night.

Puente Nuevo AirBnB
The “Salon Overlooking El Tajo”, as it is described on AirBnb, is a cute, traditional little apartment where we spent 4 of our nights in Ronda. It is ridiculously close to Puente Nuevo – close enough that we often saw people pointing at us when we were having a beer on our balcony or even just poking our head out the window. It is directly above the restaurant for Hotel Don Miguel, meaning it isn’t exactly silent but is plenty quiet at night.
Another Ronda Spain Hotel with an Amazing View
Hotel Don Miguel
Located directly right next to the AirBnB we stayed at, the views are almost identical. They have a popular restaurant with a terrace overlooking Puente Nuevo and some of the rooms also have balconies with views of the most famous landmark in Ronda.
Hotel Don Miguel is a classically traditional hotel with large, comfortable rooms and a very convenient location in the centre of town.
Just keep in mind when you’re choosing your room that only some of them have bridge views (specifically mentioned in the description).
